Helen & Douglas House helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely. We are a home from home for our patients and their families, and provide round-the-clock care in a warm, loving environment.

Story

On the 28th of September, a group of finely tuned athletes (who in their spare time work for Centrica Treasury) will be taking part in an organised bike ride from Henley to Oxford.  The ride is 46 gruelling miles long and I'm sure there are some seasoned bike riders out there who might suggest that this is easy.  Well, imagine if one of your team members has only just had his stabilisers removed..this is most definately the case here.  Luckily, the bond that this group of chaps have formed over the years of working together will mean that they will start as a team and finish as a team, unless Ash stops to look for a spokie he has lost!  There will be no ego's involved, Tony has absoloutely no interest in showing up Phil and Iain and Graham simply has no interest in the event whatsoever!

Please make sure that you make a donation and lend your support to this motley crue.  If you don't, I'll send them round in their lycra to ask in person.  You have been warned!  Dig deep people, these guys may not undertake this kind of challenge ever again.  It's fair to say it could be the last thing Ash ever does!
