Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2015, Mr Captain, Paul Robinson and Lady Captain, Pat Brodie of Davenport Golf Club, Poynton are raising funds for a significant piece of equipment for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital in an effort to thank them for their incredible work and support for the sufferers of this life threatening condition.

Mr Captain, has a 17 year old son, Sam who was born 7 weeks prematurely and after a number of tests  was found to be suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. Sam has recently transferred to the C.F. Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital which he attends regularly for check ups and treatment.

In May, 11 members of the golf club successfully completed the Hadrian's Wall walk ( 84 miles) in 8 days. Lady Captain and I would like to thank them for their efforts for the charity. Well done, we are proud of you.

We will continue to support the Charity for the rest of our year. We have other planned events including a James Bond theme Charity ball, a Marathon golfing day by both Mr Captain and Lady Captain, Captain's Charity AmAm as well as other planned events.

Please help us to support a great cause.
