A number of schemes have already been established, and the charity is working with many other departments and organisations to drive progress towards a range of support for people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The money I raise for the charity will go towards helping many people on the island and will enable the charity to reach out and expand facilities for people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder on the island.

Every year as part of fundraising Autism Jersey organise a trek, this years trek is through the foot hills of the Pyrenees, there will be a group of us taking part in the trek all raising money to aid this charity and their work for people in Jersey with Autism.

I decided to take part in trek 2012 for 2 reasons, the first being that I wanted to set myself a personal challenge after losing weight and increasing my fitness this year and the second being that I saw the trek advertised and wanted to help raise money for Autism Jersey as I have seen some of the work that they do through my work with adults with special needs.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
