WE DID IT!
Between the 26th and 29th of June we cycled 140 miles from sea level to the highest point of the national cycle network and back down the other side. Twenty-four riders and one support driver took part and we all made it into Tynemouth together!
We couldn't have asked for better riding conditions and, although it was tough, we all enjoyed it. MANY THANKS to everyone who has given money: we have already smashed the £20,000 target!
If you have pledged but not given, or did not get the chance to give, please continue to give now. The Umthombo street children project in Durban, S.A. is a fantastic project where ex-street children work to support street kids. Last year this project reintegrated over 400 street children back into family units. They set up a 24/7 drop in centre and led a successful campaign to end police brutality against street children. Watch the video of Cambridge kids telling the street children's story:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNqMQ0lQImw Many thanks from all of us,
Daniel, Karen, Simon and Sarah
