This summer, I'm taking part in the Great Wall challenge 2007 to raise funds for Open Doors UK for its work in China . I will be hiking the Great Wall for 5 days. camping in local villages on the way. We are not only going on the touristy sections but also the really rundown sections, with steep "steps" and sheer drops each side. Completing this challenge will be hard work.

About Open Doors UK

The Christian charity supports persecuted Christians worldwide. Its work include:

- printing bibles (£2 per bible)

- training Christian leaders

- Providing youth materials for churhces and organising Christian youth camps

- providing vocational training for Christian women
