So I've been talking about doing this coast to coast (Workington to Newcastle 140 miles) thing for about 4 years now! But I've never had anyone who would brave it  with me......... how times change! Carl has agreed to push me up the hills and chase me down them!

After mountain biking at Dalby  Carl discovered that I don't do uphills so well! And as there are no cable cars in the Lake District I'm thinking up strategies to cope ; 1) get off and push 2) devise a little motor; any other suggestions would be considered!!

We start off at Workington, and cycle 50 miles in day one; we're staying in a castle on the first night (Greystoke) and a bunkhouse on the second ( Nenthead)..... what more could a girl want..... so looking forward to this and training really hard!!   Thanks for taking the time to look.  Bev
