There has always been one person, who in my view was invincible. Since i was little to present day, he has been my indestructible hero, molding the mental capacity and robustness i possess as a British soldier today.

Over the next year i will be doing exactly what he taught me and turning a bad situation into a positive. I will test my body to it's limits, participating in a number of challenges, culminating in a 6000m climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (the highest free standing mountain in the world). Upon my return i will walk 100 miles from my home town to hand deliver your donations to Cancer Research in London.

I will also be taking part in 2 x 12 mile extreme mud and obstacle races and the Great North Run, wearing the Cancer Research UK logo throughout.

Please give generously to help the fight against an illness that even our super hero's can't fight off alone.
