I’m not going to write a long winded sob story, but get down
to the basics.....

Emily our work colleague and friend was diagnosed with
Breast Cancer Feb 2016, the news hit all of us like a ton of bricks and to say
we all had a bad day at this office was an understatement. Immediately we were
thinking what we can do for her.

So the female staff members at Seel & Co along with
friends who have jumped at the chance following the news have decided to take
part in the Race for Life on her behalf to raise awareness that this disease
can affect people of any age.... Anyone finding a lump/mass should not accept
it being dismissed as fatty tissue and push for answers, because you are young
and don’t fall into an age range on a chart doesn’t mean it won’t happen to you.
We all know this disease is out there and most only address it when someone we
know is affected.

We are running for our friend and hopefully in the process
raise money for a well deserved cause to show our support and love for her in
these months ahead. Her first surgery will be this month followed by 6 months
of chemo and radio therapy.

We want her to know we love her and are prepared to support
her in any way we can.
