Story
THANK YOU for visiting this page and donating to The British Red Cross - every penny goes straight to them and we are hoping to raise enough to buy a new ambulance for the Berkshire region.
I am abesiling as the face of my photography business Carli-Art and hope that this helps to bring exposure and a cash injection to this worthwhile fundraiser. I must admit I am a little frightened by the prospect of being 120ft above Reading with nothing to grasp onto but some rope - fingers crossed! Be an 'interesting' view to say the least!
This site is safe and secure and prob the easiest ways to donate so please....we all know how important an ambulance is in an emergency so help me help others!
Some facts for you:
South Berkshire Ambulance service covers a total of 3554 square miles
More than 400,000 emergency calls are handled each year in the region
The British Red Cross was initially started in 1863, inspired by a swiss businessman.
Abseiling is a fast growing activity in the UK, I reckon its because you get to act like James bond and even wear an attractive harness and helmet!
PS: If you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So sponsor me now!
