At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 27th June 2009 I will be completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks along with other members of my family in support of Macmillan Cancer.  The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge Walk from Horton in Ribblesdale - comprising Pen-y-ghent 694m (2277ft), Whernside 736m (2415ft) and Ingleborough 723m (2372ft) is one of the oldest established walks in the UK.  The official timing is to complete the walk within 12 hours but the hope is to do it much quicker!  Our personal reason for completing this walk is to give something back to Macmillan for the fantastic care and support they gave during two difficult family illnesses.

Whether you have personally been impacted by cancer or know someone close to you, it is highly likely that Macmillan will have played some part in the cancer care.  To find out more about Macmillan and the work they do please visit www.macmillan.org.uk

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!  Any donation is welcome, it all adds up.
