The Railway Children - Three Peaks Challenge by Rail · 10 July 2008 to 12 July 2008 ·

Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Story

At the age of 43 I decided I wanted a challange and in a mad moment I thought I would like to climb the 3 highest peakes in England, Wales, and Scotland over a period of 36 hours.

I must be mad I hear  you say and you would be right except I have managed to enrole 3 other mad guys to do it with me.   Sadly one of the orignal 4 has recently lost his fight with a serious illness he passed away at the age of 39 years.  So anything we raise over and above the £2500 target goes to St Lukes Hospice who cared for him and his family through a very difficult and sad time.

So if you think I am Mad you can leave me a mesage on this site it can be as rude as you like  but with the message you will have to give me some money for 2 truly good causes
