Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. My wife Carol lost a friend due to breast cancer in April 2005. This prompted her to start fundraising to fight cancer.
In 2006 she was diagnosed with the disease herself, following Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy she returned to work. Unfortunately in April this year she was diagnosed with secondary cancer in the bone, and started treatment again.
On the 20 August she collapsed at home and was taken to hospital, where a CT scan showed three tumours in the brain. Carol lost her courageous battle against this terrible disease on Friday 28 August.
Carol was always a pleasure to be with, smiling and optimistic no matter how she felt, I know she would want me to continue her work in fundraising in the hope we can eventually find a complete cure for cancer of all kinds.
I would like to thank all friends and family for their support during this difficult time.
