I am running the marathon to raise money for KEMP, a charity already close to my heart for the care & support received by mum prior to her death in 2007.

The charity was also very close to Roy's heart: at the time of his death in November last year Roy was the landlord of The Railway Train in Kidderminster, and over a period of approximately 10 years Roy & his customers had raised a phenomenal £20,000 for KEMP.

I had the great privilege of knowing Roy for over 20 years, and owe him an enormous debt of gratitude for the kindness which he showed to me.  I shall never be able to fully repay that debt, but want to use this opportunity to celebrate a very special person and raise as much as possible for our charity.
