The brain is literally your head office and damage can have a huge impact on every aspect of your life. We are passionate about helping those affected by brain injury, offering rehabilitation to individuals & families left to cope with the devastation of brain injury following hospital discharge.

Story

Welcome to Team Carole Nash’s funding raising page for the wonderful charity, the Brain & Spinal Injuries Centre. If you click the link to the left you can learn more of the fantastic work BASIC does in supporting people and their families following injury or a neurological diagnosis. This includes specialist counselling, outreach services and a national telephone helpline.

BASIC is currently raising funds to create a specialist gym fitted out with equipment specifically designed to aid the recovery of people with spinal injuries. Team Carole Nash will be supporting their fundraising efforts through various events this year, with Simon Jackson, Joanne Slinger, Stephen Bolton and Wes Vernon taking part in the Great North Run and Ben Giller, Ian Rathmill, Carl Stabler, Darren Kirby, Tom Bailes, Joanne Woodcock, Matthew Wardle, Olivia Wharton, Lee Robinson, Sharyn Clarke, David Phillips, Mark Shea, Chris Brooks competing in the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride.

Which is where you come in. Any donation you make here - no matter how large, small or medium-sized - will take BASIC just that bit closer to providing those vital gym facilities. Don’t forget to make use the Gift Aid option – this means that when you make a donation as an individual, so does the Taxman – if you’re paying basic rate tax at 20%, a £10 donation is worth £12.50 to BASIC.

Please give as generously as you can - and we’ll give all we can in blood, sweat and, no doubt, tears during our fundraising events!
