Two years ago I stood at the peak of the highest mountain in North Africa and vowed never again to sleep in a tent, carry a rucksack or wee behind a rock. However, memories fade and on 25th June I have agreed to trek  the Landamannalaugar route across the most actively volcanic area in iceland.  The days are long and the terrain so difficult that it is rarely crossed by adventurers. I will apparently be wading through thigh high icy water and negotiating deep gorges whilst carrying all my own equipment, and yes..sleeping in a tent and weeing behind a rock.

This is an important year, as I am hoping that Capital Corporate Finance will hit the amazing figure of £500,000 raised for Childline : the figure currently stands at £380,000. I am funding the cost of the trip myself, and so every penny I raise will go direct to Childline and help them answer more calls from children in trouble or danger. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
