1. Well we did it!  Can't quite believe that we got there in the end but there are some photos to prove it somewhere!  I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say that it was probably the most challenging thing either of us has ever done but the amazing cameraderie of the other riders, the extraordinary support of the french father and son on the side of the road shouting "Bon Courage", the use of the loo in the old man's bar, the prosecco and steak at the end, Phil Magnus's magic on the bikes and Kit and Tom on the tandem with "a little jazz for the ladies" - all these things kept us going.  It isn't too late to sponsor us as I know how long it takes to get that funding in and as you can see, we still have a way to go to our target, so please do dig deep for Educaid and the amazing work Miriam and all the team does in Sierra Leone.

Working with people there gave me a rare glimpse of the sheer magnitude of inequality that exists whilst giving hope that there are solutions - EducAid is part of that hope."
