Story

Dystonia is a common neurological movement disorder characterised by sustained and involuntary muscle contractions or muscle spasms. These spasms can cause twisting, repetitive movements or abnormal postures and are sometimes accompanied by tremor.

It is estimated that there are at least 70,000 people living with dystonia in the UK. One of these people is Equine Online forum moderator, fellow horse lover and good friend, Diane Allen.

Diane suffers so much but does so with incredible bravery and good humour. It is after seeing one of her videos where she had lost control of her legs that I decided to put mine to good use and run to raise money for The Dystonia Society.

Don't be fooled by my athletic (I wish) appearance. It's bl**dy hard work training for a half marathon on top of a full time job. It's the thought of people suffering worse things a few achy bones that keeps you going!

Please dig deep and support my run. Diane and I would be eternally grateful.
