Trek Vietnam 2009 · 25 October 2009

Evora Hospice, formerly Southern Area Hospice Services, helps patients with life-limiting conditions live well from diagnosis to end-of-life, providing care tailored to each person's unique needs, wishes, and quality of life.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my justgiving page.

On the 25th October 2009, I will undertake my biggest challenge and adventure to-date, which involves a 70km hike through the beautiful and remote region of Sapa, which is located at a altitude of 1650m in Northwest Vietnam.

Alongside a group of 45 people, we will be trekking along the lower slopes of the Hoang Liem Mountains over 10 days and will be immersed in the culture of the local tribes of this region, staying in the local houses of the tribal villages that we pass through.

Each year I always try to raise some much needed funds for the Southern Area Hospice, but it usually involves doing a half-marathon or a marathon!  This year I thought it would more exciting and a new challenge for me and it's a chance to raise a lot more money than I have in the past.

Thank you in advance for all your support and generosity.
