My story

Welcome to my FIRST & ONLY marathon fundraising page! You don't expect me to do another one do you?!

Many of you may know that I'm not much of a runner and definitely rather SLOW, but about 9 months ago I embarked on a new challenge - training for the New Forest Half Marathon which took place last September. I found it hard work, but thought that there was the possibility of taking the next step and participating in a marathon. Training is long and sometimes hard, but come April 26th, I'll be in London taking part in the marathon.

It would be great if you could make a contribution to my chosen charity - Get Kids Going - small or large every penny counts and goes towards making a great difference to young disabled people interested in participating in sport. Get Kids Going! helps disabled children take part in sport by providing specialist sports wheelchairs, sports grants and year round support. They can then compete in marathons, triathlons, tennis, athletics, skiing, rugby, basketball etc. With your help, many could become Paralympic champions and world record holders.
