Story
In March 2008, a friend of mine was airlifted from Surrey to Kings College Hospital London, following a serious car accident and head injury. Flying fast, direct and unhindered at over 150mph, the Surrey Air Ambulance was able to transport him to the right specialist to give him emergency treatment within 15 minutes, and his life was saved.
The SAAF receives no state, lottery or local public funding and relies entirely on donations. After last years 7.5K achievement, this year's 10 mile walk across the North Downs aims to raise at least that again. Any pennies will be gratefully received, every pound makes all the difference!
