Taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5k Race in September is pushing me well out of my comfort zone! I've wanted to sign up for this ever since I lost my dear dad back in 2008 and my emotions have stalled me every year.  Well, this year I'm going to put my big girls pants on, face the fear and do it anyway! This is a cruel disease that will touch each and every one of us one way or another so please give a little (or a lot!) to help towards this research.  I have not been the same person since dad passed away and I don't think I ever will be.  I'm blessed with family and good friends and am lucky to have a life, albeit a different one from the one I had 8 years ago.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
