Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This time I am running for mine and Harry's dear friend Richard Smith who died very suddenly and tragically last summer aged 39. Richard had struggled with mental illness most of his life . One of the ways in which Richard coped with his illness was to run and the last time I saw him we had planned to do a 10k run together.
Sadly we will never had the chance to do that, but it has inspired me to go out , buy a new pair of running shoes and run a race for the two of us !
It may not be the marathon but for those of you that know me well you will understand that this is my own personal marathon and I can tell you there are a number of hills between the two castles ! I am running the castle to castle race ( Warwick to Kenilworth Castle ) on Saturday June 7th this was our planned run of 10k.
So please sponsor me with what ever you can and all monies donated will go to the charity 'Together ' who support people with mental health problems.
Richard greatly valued the support that he receieved from 'Together' carers over the years.
