Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO BE ABLE TO SAY
"I SWAM THE ENGLISH CHANNEL"?

Swim the distance of the English Channel (22 miles) in your local pool over a 12 week period and raise money for Aspire and people with spinal cord injuries.

From 12th September to 4th December 2011 I will be swimming many many lengths of my local pool to equate to the distance of the channel swim from dover to Calais a total of 22 miles!

As with all my crazy schenanigans I need monetary gifts to motivate me to completet this task so....
