This will be my first big challenge since my right ankle replacement surgery in Oct. 2007.    Cycle Russia is a 550 km journey from St Petersburg to Moscow, some of the cycling being Off-road.   The weather may be cold and/or wet, and we are travelling through rural Russia so conditions will be fairly basic.   Our group will be about 40 people, raising money for a variety of charities.    My Justgiving page is for The Douglas Bader Foundation, with whom I have done some memorable bike rides in the past with amputee friends.

My recent surgery and rehab has given me a very small insight into the personal experience of disability, albeit temporary, and how one has to fight to overcome it. So - please give generously so the Bader Foundation can help others.
