Every Year the Rotary Club of Woodbridge hold an open air Christmas Carol Service on Market Hill. This is a wonderful event on the very picturesque Market Hill and this year marks the 59th such Carol Service. After the service which starts at 6.30pm on the 20th, Santa Claus Arrives to give sweets to the children and this year our collection will be donated to :
East Anglian Children's Hospice Ipswich
The Tree House appeal and other Local Charities Supported by Rotary
BBC Radio Suffolk's Bob Shelley and author Jane Mower will be signing copies of her book in aid of The Treehouse appeal
We have decided this year to use JustGiving to help those people who are away and cannot attend the Carol Service to make a donation to this Christmas Appeal.
The picture shows fund raising Chairman Ron Whitaker together with Rtn Dennis Driver (right) and Rtn Robin Pivett (left) and other Rotarians who give up a great deal of time to make this event the success it is.
