I'm running for the Footsteps Foundation because of a little girl called Annie, who is in my class at the school where I work. Annie is a bright, creative, popular nine-year-old who loves life. She also has cerebral palsy, but in spite of this she lives every day to the full with enthuiasm and plenty of energy.

Annie does face physical challenges, however, and the amazing treatment she receives at Footsteps makes a huge difference to her life - an intensive and ground-breaking course of physiotherapy that is not available on the NHS.

My aim is to raise money for this unique centre that improves the lives of children and young adults with neurological disorders - to help Annie and others like her, to change their lives for the better.
