In August 2016, Depression Alliance merged with Mind, the mental health charity. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Money you donate here will be used exclusively for services previously run by Depression Alliance, e.g. Friends in Need.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Just before Christmas in 2005, I lost someone who meant a great deal to me, after a long battle with depression. There is nothing I can do to change the way things worked out in this case, however I may be able to do something positive to help others in a similar position, and to save them from going through this. Depression Alliance work to raise awareness of depression and support sufferers and their loved ones. Depression is a treatable condition, but unfortunately many find it hard to seek help and recognise it as a problem. Please help to raise awareness and enable Depression Alliance to continue their work by sponsoring me.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Depression Alliance will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
