I have always wanted to run the London Marathon and I am so pleased to have gained a charity place to raise money to help young people in Woking. 
It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I can still hardly believe I did it! Took me longer than I would have liked as I injured my leg at mile 1 but got to the end anyway!
Relateen is a free service to youngsters who are affected by family breakup,
but each session costs £35 to provide. Each young person needs about 6 - 10 sessions and the donations from the 6 marathon runners are the main source of financial support for this service. Relateen offer counselling in family centres in Egham and Sheerwater and Bishop David Brown School. They are hoping to set up in more centres in the near future and with your help this is possible.
Could you sponsor me today, maybe fund a counselling session or part of one? I would be very grateful, and it makes all the training through dark,snow and freezing conditions more bearable knowing that teenagers who need help will benefit at the end of it! ( I was going to put 'in the long run' but thought that was too corny!!)
