Story
Hello
My name is Carolyn Johnson and i am going on a trek in Peru on the 18th September 2009. This will involve me trekking for 5 days for about 8 to 10 hours per day reaching a height of 4400 metres.
I am doing this to raise money for an excellant charity BRAKE. My daughter Alex who was 16, was killed in a car accident in December 2007, she was being driven by a young driver who was waiting a ban for 2 speeding offences. He was later charged with driving without due care and attention and fined £ 85 and given six points on his licence.
I want to raise money for this charity as they help victims of road accidents, raise awareness on road safety and help inform the government. EVERY 30 SECONDS SOMEONE IS KILLED ON THE ROAD.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brake, the road safety charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support
