Big Walk Home · 5 September 2010

Bury Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to hundreds of residents and their families across Bury. It will cost to run the Hospice this year £4.8million and we raise 83% of this total, but with the support of our community we continue to provide care and services to those who need it.

Story

On Sunday 5th September 2010 we will be joining the crew of Ramsbottom Online and around 40 of our neighbours to do the Big Walk Home raising money for Bury Hospice.

The Big Walk Home is a 16 mile walk starting in Manchester City Centre, following the Irwell Sculture trail up to Ramsbottom in the far north of Greater Manchester.

Bury Hospice delivers very special nursing and medical care to local men and women who are living with a life-threatening or terminal illness whilst supporting their families and carers.
They are a registered charity No. 514728.

We are aiming to raise £100 between us although we would put no limit on your generosity. If you'd like to donate in person please get in touch.

Thank you,
Carolynne and David
