I sufferred a riding accident in my late teens and have not ridden for over twenty years! It is now time to face my fears, and get back in the saddle !

Obvoiusly, I wanted a gentle re-introduction to horse riding and so decided to give myself a challenge that would motivate me, and, at the same time raise vital funds for the animals at the Blue Cross so...

... I am undertaking an extreme trek across the high Andes of Ecuador where we will be reaching altitudes in excess 3000m. In the saddle for up to 7 hours a day for 5 days should result in me either, conquering my fears, or, finding a more sedate form of fundraising.
