Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit our justgiving page. As you know, we are getting married on September 11, 2010. Having already moved into and furnished our home, we have all we need. So, if you were thinking about buying us a gift to celebrate our wedding, we'd like you to consider something else instead. 

Lakelands Day Care Hospice provides respite day care facilities for adults in North Northamptonshire, South Leicestershire and Rutland and aims to improve the quality of life of patients and families living with life-limiting illnesses, including cancer and heart failure.  Since opening in 2001, the Hospice has helped over 2000 families in the area and continues to grow in order to meet the great need for respite day care.

The Hospice relies entirely on voluntary donations and support from the community to remain open. Lakelands needs to raise, on average, in excess of £350,000 per year to keep its doors open.

This is a charity that is close to our hearts. 

So, instead of buying us a gift, please make a donation, however small, to this worthy cause - we know the money will be put to great use.
