The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

WE DID IT!!!!!! Only one week after completing the Great North Run and Carrie injuring her foot - we completed the Gold Trail and had some very interesting experiences along the way....

Thanks to all who have sponsored us so far - only a tiny bit more to go!

'In October we will be trekking over 55 miles in 5 days to raise funds for the National Autistic Society. It's going to be a lot of hard work and we are relying on you to help us raise our target.

Autism is a spectrum condition occurring in varying degrees of severity. It is characterised by a triad of impairments: difficulties forming social relationships, problems with verbal and non-verbal communication and the development of strong narrow obsessional interests

Sponsor us now and help the estimated 535,000 people with autism in the UK today by supporting The National Autistic Society's services including the Autism Helpline, Advocacy for Education service, Befriending scheme, Parent to Parent support service and help! Programme.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the National Autistic Society will receive your money faster.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support and we will keep you updated of our progress.
