Story
Hi everyone,
My name's Splash, it's very nice to meet you.
I live at the Diamond Centre with 29 other horses and ponies. Together, we teach disabled children and adults how to horse ride! It's a really rewarding job - not only do we love what we do, but we're making such a difference to people's lives.
Sadly, my life didn't start out that great.
I was found tied to some railings, and there were children throwing bricks at me. I'm only tiny, so it really hurt.
Luckily, a kind man rescued me, and gave me to the Diamond Centre. I'm really happy and confident now, and I love my job!
The riding lessons are heavily subsidized for our 365 regular riders, so we also rely on donations from nice people like you to help us pay for the huge costs of running a stables. Emily, Jessie and Rosie said they wanted to help, and when they met me, they obviously fell in love!
It costs £1,700 to pay for my bedding, food, tack, veterinary care and any other requirements that a pony like me needs for a year. Without this, I wouldn't be able to do the important work I do for disabled riders.
If you can, please give a donation so me and my pony-friends can keep helping our human friends.
