Thanks for taking the time to visit C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K.'s JustGiving page for Children In Need 2009.
Over 6 Nights I, Nick Thurston, will travel over 1000 miles to visit haunted properties throughout the South-West with my Paranormal Research Group C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K. (Cornwall And Somerset Paranormal Entity Research United Kingdom) along with 70 invited guests over the 4 nights.
Entitled "6 Nights & 66 Ghosts", night 1 commences on Friday 6th November 2009 and Saturday 7th November 2009, whereby Nick Thurston and Briege Goodman will be spending two nights at the extremely haunted Jamaica Inn, Bolventor, Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. They will leave their homes in Somerset to spend two nights alone with Pudsey Bear in Room 5 with the extra residents that come and go with a bump in the night! Help them and this worthy cause by donating generously! Although Nick and Briege are both members of C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K. (http://www.casperuk.co.uk) and Nick is also the Press Media Officer for the UKBPA (http://www.ukbpa.org), both are still uncertain what this Ghost Vigil for Children In Need 2009 will bring. Nick will need to lend support to his Briege and Pudsey to steady their nerves as well as his own that is for sure! Nick and Briege have stayed in this Room before and captured a ladies gaunt looking face in the mirror and a gaunt looking man in the window when no one was there, strange balls of light, door latches and sack trucks moving on their own and strange mists to name just some of the strange goings on at the Inn! The aim is to raise at least £2000.00, so please help them and give to this worthy cause - they will be extremely grateful for any donation you can afford!
A week later the pair will be accompanied by the other members of C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K. as well as 13 select guests on Friday 13th November 2009 of all days to perform another Dusk till Dawn Ghost Vigil at Pengersick Castle, Praa Sands, Cornwall. This ancient Castle is reputed to be haunted by many ghosts and will put the Fundraising Ghostbusting Group through their paces for sure!
The following night on Saturday 14th November 2009 Pudsey, C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K. and 18 select guests then travel to Bodmin Gaol, Bodmin, Cornwall to test their nerves at this very active Gaol set in the deepest, darkest depths of Cornwall. Last year Nick, Briege, Mark and Pudsey experienced a multitude of Paranormal Activity and are sure that there will be more of the same this year for this Fundraiser! The Ghost of Bodmin Gaol rarely disappoint, especially when it comes to Charity!
Finally, a week later on Children In Need Night itself, Friday 20th November 2009, C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K., Pudsey and 18 select guests travel back down to Bodmin Gaol for yet another all night Dusk till Dawn Ghost Vigil. Night 6 concludes the following night on Saturday 21st November 2009 at Pengersick Castle with C.A.S.P.E.R. U.K., Pudsey Bear and 13 select guests. Come dawn this will then allow poor ickle Pudsey to hide under his mini-duvet and catch up on some much deserved sleep (if he can of course....., until next year bless him - I just hope that the 66 ghosts don't give him Nightmares)!.
