If I have spoken to you already you will be aware of the challenge I face - I am dog sledding 250km in April '09. This will be a HUGE personal challenge. Sledding is very physically demanding and I will not be staying in luxury accommodation - just a tent on the snow with an average temperature of -20c!

I have personally chosen the charity I am fundraising for and I  feel that Castaways is a very deserving cause. They do a massive amount of work in the community helping the most deprived people. They have faced numerous setbacks including the Castaways Charity Shop being flooded in 2007. I hope that I will raise enough money to help them with necessary building work and support their continued good work. As I am fundraising for a smaller charity, even the smallest donations will make a difference to them without the expense of huge wage bills.

LATEST NEWS: I am planning a charity auction for November in Nantwich - date TBC. So far, I have received items for the auction from Chill Factor E, Chatwins, Jodrell Bank, Prestige Beauty, Bridgemere, Tatton Park, Snugburys and many more ... So a big thankyou to them! I will be selling tickets to the auction from 10th October priced at a very reasonable £5 (of course all proceeds going to fundraising). Anybody interested in attending - please contact me.

More News.... I now have a date for the auction, 25th November at 7pm at The Vagrants, Willaston. In addition to those mentioned, I would also like to thank the Crewe Blog, Cotbrook Shire Horse Centre,  Relax 7, Regent Theatre, Stapeley Water Gardens and Sparkle for their kind donations.
