Thanks for visiting the Elvet Striders Castle to Castle fundraising page.

Over the weekend of June 20th and 21st 2009 Elvet Striders plan to run a relay from Carlisle Castle to Durham Castle along the route of the Hadrians Wall path. The route will take us most of the way along the wall until we turn south and follow a route down through Stocksfield, Ebchester, Consett, Lanchester, Langley Park before finishing at Durham Castle. The whole route is approximately 77 miles broken down into mainly 5 mile legs. We plan to cover the distance in 2 days with an overnight camp at the village of Wall near Chollerford.

The Charity we are raising money for is the Sir Bobby Robson FoundationTrust which in turn raises money for the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Charity. The website can be visited at http://www.sirbobbyrobsonfoundation.org.uk/
