Hi, Back in 2006, four fools decided to take part in the 10k Great East Anglia Run... and amazingly, we all finished. The picture (right) was taken before the run. In 2006 we raised money for Cancer Research UK. In 2007 it was just Chris and Graeme, but this year we're back in force with a team of four - the only change being Richard (right) replaced by Ben (think dark hair and thinner - sorry Rich!). For 2008, we're raising money for:- East Anglian Air Ambulance - A very important service out here in the sticks, often reducing an hour's journey by road to just a few minutes... which can be the difference between life and death. To sponsor us in aid of the Air Ambulance, please use the "Sponsor us now" button above, or send a cheque to us (or them) made payable to "East Anglian Air Ambulance".
A River Blue - An arts empowerment project for the children of Northern Uganda. This project works with children from the internally-displaced persons camps in Northern Uganda, rehabilitiating them, and providing vocational skills to build their own lives. More information at www.ariverblue.org. As this organisation is based in the US, they aren't linked with justgiving.com, but you can still donate on-line from their website, which uses PayPal.
So we're supporting two worthly causes, one close to home and one further afield - we'll leave it to you to decide where your money goes, we're just grateful for any support you can give. Please give generously, but only what you can afford. Donating through justgiving.com is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also an efficient way to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance, who will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support, Paul, Chris, Ben and Graeme.
