Edinburgh Marathon 2008 · 25 May 2008 ·

Cornerstone is a leading social care charity and expert provider of services to people with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs in Scotland. Since being first established in 1980, Cornerstone has grown to become one of the largest care providers in the country.

Story

27 years ago our Dad created Cornerstone Community Care.  It is now one of the country's largest providers of support to children and adults with Special Needs.  Cesca and I are very proud to try and raise some money to support Cornerstone in this our dad's retirement year.  The charity does such a fantastic job in bringing love, warmth, support and housing to people with a wide range of disabilities.

So what are we doing? . . .  well only 26 bloomin miles!!!!  A little excessive you might think but hey, we're not a family to do anything by half.  This is Cesca's first marathon and my second, and every penny will help us to take another step over the proverbial "wall" - so go on give us some cash, you know you want too - we don't care if it's a pound but a tenner would be better!!!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cornerstone Community Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
