Africa needs to create 8 million new jobs every year. Most of these jobs will come from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). AFFORD has developed innovative and effective ways of harnessing the resources of the African diaspora to create and maintain jobs in Africa.

Hello all

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page - it's still not too late to sponsor me.  

Lashing, torrential rain and London Underground almost put paid to the (grandiose) ambition of completing a half marathon on 5th October but, I'm happy to say I did it! 

I'm raising money for AFFORD, a charity which improves the lives of Africans, helping them build sustainable businesses to help themselves and others. 

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me.  The African Foundation For Development gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
