In 2007 our friend Karen was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, in 2009 she was diagnosed with secondaries or "squatters"as she called them.

Karen fought this with sheer determination and bravery. She helped so many women going through the same, through her bloggs and facebook page offering advice or just a listening ear.

In 2011 Karen decided to climb Snowdon to raise money for Macmillan who had helped her throughout her treatment.  Unfortunately half way up the weather had worsened, Karen and her walking buddy Nickie had to turn back.  Karen was devastated but they both made a promise to try again in June this year.  Sadly Karen passed away on 16th January 2013 never to fulfil her promise.  So this is where 50 of us 'Crazy Climbers' are going to keep Kazza's promise to reach the top of Snowdon on 1st June 2013.

Please show your support and help us keep our promise to Karen. This crazy lady gave so much of herself to others and Macmillan made this possible. Help us to help Macmillan support more people like Karen. It doesn't matter how small the donation - every penny helps.
