The Sahara race is a 150 mile self sufficiency race taking part over 6 days.  We have to carry all our food, clothing, sleeping bags, first aid kit, cleaning items in a rucksack on our backs.  As it is the Sahara it will be very hot!

The race takes part in stages consisting of different distances each day but equate to roughly 5 and a half marathons in 6 days.

I am doing this to raise money for the LAA who are a local charity taking care of unwanted animals.  Every penny I raise will go to help out with food, veterinary care and rehoming these cats and dogs.  Please donate whatever you can to this very needy charity.
