Recently a very good friend of mine was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Having already had 3 members of my family lost to cancer, two others that have had treatment, not to mention the number of friends and colleagues that have been touched by cancer. I decided it was time to do my bit to help prevent it and to have some fun organising some events to raise money for Cancer Research UK .. If Cancer Research had enough money and time to make the right breaktrough, maybe we could all have better diagnosis, better treatments, better survival rates... giving us all a better chance… and who knows, it could easily be you or me next...

I’m starting with a fun money casino, I’ve done a few of these before and they are really really good fun. Also were hoping to put on a live band in October.

You can help by coming out and having a great time, I’d like to think we can give you a really good night out for a reasonable amount of money…. Or you could donate some time to help run the events, or maybe donate a prize for us to use in the auction or raffles so we can make more money, or if you can’t make it just make a donation.

The Cancer research slogan “Together we will beat cancer” says it all, doesn’t it?
