Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

My chosen charity is :- ME Research UK

ME stands for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis also called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or CFS

I am helping to raise awareness about ME and raising money for ME Research UK to continue with their important research into finding the cause and then, hopefully,  a cure for people with ME.

As an ME sufferer for over 11 years I know the devastating effect it has on lives and families.

May 10-16th 2009 is ME Awareness Week and to raise money for ME Research UK I held  a sponsored event - I've had a tattoo! A tasteful, feminine and floral design that  incorporates the ME Awareness Week logo of a blue ribbon.

12th May update:- Yes, I've had the tattoo, it's a bit sore, but looking good. Blue swirls to represent the blue ME Awareness Day ribbon and 3 pink flowers .
