The TEECH motto is ‘to help those less fortunate create a better future for themselves’ and we do this by providing aid and improving basic living conditions for the lives of the young and the elderly in Eastern Europe
Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
TEECH is a charity which works to improve the lives of people living in the poorest parts of Eastern Europe.
In August a group of volunteers, including staff from The New Eccles Hall School, will be travelling across Europe to work on the year's chosen project. To read about previous projects please visit www.Teech.org
The proposal for August 2009 is to travel back to Moldova and provide support and restorative work to a rural village school. This will include improving the very primitive sanitary provision, renovating and redecorating classrooms and providing a safer play environment. Further details will be added as soon as more information is available.
In addition to monetary donations we will be very pleased to receive suitable play and educational equipment for these children who do not have what we, in this country, tend to take for granted. As part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award service some Year 10 and 11 pupils from The New Eccles Hall School will be working for the benefit of the charity at the "stores" at Thorndon, sorting, cleaning, reorganising and arranging collection of donated items. If you do have items to donate please contact the school on 01953 887217.
With many thanks for your continued interest and support.
