Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I DID IT!! A painful 5 hours 34 minutes and 54 seconds but I DID IT!!

Knowing that I had to see Daddy got me through it as he was positioned at mile 26!!

Over the last 6 months I have run over 160 miles, in all types of weather, up hills, over bridges and through puddles, but it was worth it.

I have almost doubled my original target amount and i so want ot get to the £4000 marker! I'm raising money for the MS Society. It is the UK's largest charity dedicated to supporting everyone whose life is touched by Multiple Sclerosis.  It invests in innovative research with the hope of finding more effective treatments for MS and ultimately the cure.

In MS, the immune system attacks the central nervous system, damaging the coating of the nerves that carry messages throughout the body. These symptoms can include pain, fatigue, loss of mobility or vision, depression, and spasticity. For some people, MS is characterised by periods of relapse and remission, while for others, including my Dad, it has a progressive pattern. For everyone, it makes life unpredictable.

You cannot catch MS and as yet there is no cure.

If you can help me to double my original £2000 target to £4000 I will be so grateful.
