Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am to throw myself into the lap of of the gods, by launching from the Magna ceiling and abseil down - on the 14th of December, 2008.  It is a 150ft drop and I am somewhat frightened of heights - this is all part of my effort to overcome my fear!  Please support me in doing so.

Almost every one of us will have to cope with the effects of a stroke at some point - whether through a family member, friend or from your own experience.  Please help me to support the Stroke Association by donating through this page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
