Classrooms For Kenya is a charity started by staff and students of The Weald School, West Sussex. The charity's aim is simply to promote education in Kenya by raising funds to build new, permanent and safe classrooms for Kenyan children.

Story

On 17th of July, I am going to Kenya with a group of students and teachers from my college, The Weald. In 2006, the school created Classrooms for Kenya to raise funds to replace delapidated buildings with new classrooms and to provide educational materials for rural villages. In the past, funds have been used to build 8 new classroom in 4 schools. This years volunteers will be carrying on the work started as well as teaching and spending time with local children and their families.

I have already raised money to help cover the costs of my trip, but would now be really grateful if you would consider contributing money towards funds to be spent on building materials to aid the project.

Many thanks,

Love Atty (Catriona!)
