We provide nursing & end of life care to local children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We, as a group, have caught the running big and have signed up to run the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon on Sunday 10th September 2017. It is a challenge to us all in varying ways, but safe to say most of us have never run a half marathon before (and as it gets ever nearer it is becoming a more and more scary prospect!).

We are raising money for Hope House Children's Hospices, which is charity that cares for children with serious health conditions across Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. They provide an incredible free service to both the children and their families, providing specialist nursing, palliative care and a huge range of activities from their two hospices. They also provide emotional and practical suppport for siblings and the parents. On top of that they offer bereavement counselling to any family who have lost a child, as well as to children who've lost someone close to them. It really is an amazing charity, doing incredible work so please help us to raise as much as possible to keep supporting them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We’re here to ensure that children with life-threatening conditions enjoy the best quality of life, together with their families. We provide specialist care and bereavement support, when and where they need it, and work to ensure that no one faces the death of a child alone.
