Hey Guys!

Thanks for visiting our Jailbreak fundraising page and helping kids to beat cancer today!

We're raising money for Kidscan; a charity located at the University of Salford funding specific research into childhood cancers. The charity does not recieve any governement funding, therefore relies on fund raising and kind donations in order for it's fantastic work to continue.

For those of you who are wondering what Jailbreak is and what we're actually planning on doing, here's a quick run through:

Basically, we set off from the Student's Union at 4pm on Halloween and have 30 hours to get as far away from Manchester as we possibly can!! Simple as that, HOWEVER.......... we can't use ANY money!!! ZERO PENNIES. Therefore it's up to us to blag our way across the world,  by hitching? Flying? Rowing? Swimming? Who knows! We'll have reached our final destination by 10 o'clock on the Saturday night. Blatantly Barbados.

All we are asking of you lovely people is that you donate a little money using this website or, even better,  sponser us a penny per mile! Yes, this could mean you'd either end up sponsoring us £1 or £50, but take the gamble! Its all for a brilliant cause.

Most of you will probably be aware of our obsession with fancy dress. We're planning to go dressed as robbers SO, here's a stupid and impractical thought........ if we raise half our fundraising total by friday morning, we'll handcuff ourselves together for the full 30 hours. THAT IS 30 HOURS. Hurrah.
